I believe that the purpose of life is to live fully and have fun doing so. For me this means being outside, hiking with my dogs, trail riding on my horse, paddle boarding all summer, practicing and teaching yoga with my tribe, loving my family, laughing with my friends, using my employment for financial freesom and mentor Generation Z, saying yes to what lights up my soul and saying no to the things that dim my light.
Trying to find relief from lower back problems, I walked into a yoga studio in fall 2014. I surprised myself when I signed up for a second month. I have not stopped practicing. In 2015, I got on a stand up paddle board (SUP) for the first time. I believed I was not a water person, but quickly discover that was not true.
In the spring of 2018, I became a RTY-200 yoga instructor and certified SUP instructor. Now I am teaching flow classes a few times a week and spending the summer on the water with friends.
My pups and I live in Nashville, but we spend lots of time on the farm in Kentucky with family and the horses.
