This morning I started class with the fall mediation I shared here.
Durning the long hold, restorative poses I noticed the shadows of the leaves outside of the window dancing in the bright rays of the early morning on the studio floor.
During class I offered several mantras including: “When I release tension, I lessen the amount of tension in the world. When I release fear, I lessen the amount of fear in the world. “
After savasana, but while in fetal position I shared, “As I feel God working through me, so may the world.”
Thanksgiving is a hard week for so many. Take opportunities to release stress and tension. Be mindful of your needs and emotions. When you need a break, you have permission to step into a quit room, lock the door and picture leave falling and dancing on the wind.
Peace & Love
Lovely Sarah. Do you also say any mantra: Shloka in samskrit ?
Thanks for sharing

I try to honor the the history and true intentions of yoga. I study the Sutras and Bagavad Gita. I enjoy the Hindu Goddess. I have not been to India, but someday….

Remember you have someone you can speak to in India which is Bharat. Please come, if you won’t, who else.
