Zion is my fave! How cool you got to live there. I am sad that there is no longer any good time to visit Arches. Whenever I drive through Moab (as in just last week), there is always a long line of cars going in. Zion I visit in late fall, winter, and it is so wonderful. Not much in the way of crowds.

I lived in Zion for a year and a half as a kid. My dad was in the Park Service. Love going back to hike and paddle.
