Bowie Nature Park

Late Saturday night Middle Tennessee was gifted with a dusting of snow. After donning my rarely used Cuddle Duds as a base layer and filling a thermos with my morning London Fog, I loaded Jolene and headed out for a Sunday adventure.

The trees looked as if they had been lightly painted to create a magical forest.
The Perimeter Trail is 4.5 miles.
Many of the trails are for hikers and horse riders. This day the trails were closed to horses because of the mud.
Jolene and I pretty much had the trails to ourselves. Dogs are to be leashed, but as I knew there would be no horses and probably no other hikers, I briefly let her run off some energy.
