This week I had the honor of teaching four sessions for the Tennessee Arts Academy for music, art and theatre teachers in the state. My charge was provide tools to encourage mindfulness and stress reduction. Each session had a different theme and purpose. I thought carefully about the ways these techniques could benefit the teacher and be brought into a classroom.
I shared breathe work, meditation techniques, gentle yoga including a juicy super chill flow, PranaShakti Dance, a Trantric flow and churn, energy release meditation and bounce, grounding meditation and Yoga Nidra.
Creating the four classes was challenging and fun. I LOVED teaching and sharing practices I use.
I am grateful for the opportunity and hope I get the chance to share these practices again.
