I get to choose how I want to feel and how to care for myself.
I have been struggling with feeling overwhelmed which is a form of fear. I have taken small steps to what has to been done (preparing food, going to work, doing work tasks) and focusing on meditation, gentle movement and journaling. I can not control external conditions but I can choose my reactions. I can sit with fear, but not buy into it. I can see struggles as lessons. I can choose to focus on joy and gratitude, even for the hard stuff that makes me want to hide. I can trust that what is mine will not pass me by.
